The Sitwell Arms: Fred Middleton, was landlord of the Sitwell Arms in 1911. Living with the Walker family in 1891. By 1922 Edith Middleton was landlady

Whiston Bridge: dated 1903? There was a Fred Raby b.1873 Cawood/Selby area, by 1905 he's living at Denaby and in 1911 census - he had a daughter Annie b.1903 Whiston and son Edwin b.1905 Denaby.Whiston Bridge, Whiston

3 houses to the left are The Pieces North, the larger house to the right is The Pieces South. The Manorial Barn can be seen above. The Old Rectory can be seen top right with Merryweathers farm at the bottom of The Green is far right half way down the photo (you can see the metal roofed barn which was demolished when Whiston Green was built in the 90's)
