Luke Cross was born in 1720 at Anston. He married in 1748 at Anston to Sarah RADLEY , born 1719 at Laughton-en-le-Morthen.

- Mary Cross, born 1755 at Whiston. Married Thomas Barlow
- Sarah Cross, born 1756 at Whiston. Married twice.1) In 1771 at Laughton-en-le-Morthen to Nathan Goodwin. 2) To William Samon at Laughton 26 APR 1776
- Ann Cross, born 1758 at Whiston. Married in 1792 Rotherham George Graham(1760-1819) of Wickersley
On 27 May 1874, Mrs. R. N. Cross gave birth to a daughter at Whiston Hall.
