Henry Hogton (b 1846), a File Forger, married Eliza from Catcliffe. In 1881 they were living with their son William W. (aged 11 born Catcliffe) at 132 Carr Rd, Nether Hallam, Sheffield.

Joseph Hogton (b 1849), aged 32, from Whiston, a Brass Finisher and Landlord of the Crinoline Bridge Inn, Rotherham, was married to Emma aged 27 from Dinnington. They had 3 children:
- Arthur age 5, born 1876
- Tom, age 3, born 1878
- Joe, age 1, born 1880.
Arthur and Tom were born in Whiston and Joe Jnr was born in Rotherham.
Fred Hogton (b 1859), a Brass Finisher, aged 22, born Whiston, and Ellen Hogton, aged 19, born Derby, were living at 54 Drummond Street, Rotherham, the home of Charles Morris.
