Kent

Richard Kent (1672-1704), of Whiston was married to Elizabeth Westby, daughter of George Westby of Guilthwaite, who died June 1727. In the will of Richard Kent dated 1704 he is described as of Whiston, he mentions a son John and daughter Elizabeth. Children:

• Richard Kent of Kimberworth (1695-1739) m. 12 Nov. 1719, Sarah, dau. of Will. Downes of Wakefield. Sarah in 1757 living at Clough, she d. 3 Sep. 1769, aged 69.
• Westby d.1702
• Elizabeth
• John (1700-1701)
