Suzannah died in 1840 and Samuel m2. Ann Roddis of Laughton (1813-1868) on 3 November 1844 ?? at Treeton. Children of Samuel and Ann (Nee Roddis):

• Joseph (1846-1923)
• Mary Robinson b.1849
• Charles Roddis Robinson b.1852
• Alfred James Robinson b.1855

In 1851, Samuel was living with his family at Brampton-en-le-Morthen
