Isaac Rose m. Mary Robinson 06 DEC 1836 Aston
Joseph Rose, son of Isaac and Mary, an Ironworks Manager was born at Aughton in 1838. He was married to Jane, born Westbury, Gloucester, in 1838.
In 1881 they were living with their family at 74 St Anns Rd, Rotherham :

- Florence M. ROSE was born 1871 in Whiston
- Octavia E. ROSE was born 1872 in Rotherham
- Adelaide E. ROSE was born 1876 in Sheffield

Edward and S. E. Rose, were living in Swallownest around 1942; their son Frederick James was a casualty of war.

Rose of Eckington
Sarah Rose of Camm House Ridgeway married John Archer of Geer Lane on 11th May 1840. This was the first marriage to take place at Ridgeway Parish Church. Owing to some doubt as to the legality, they were later re-married at Eckington Church.
Stephen Rose, a miner, born 1836 in Bakewell, Derbys, married Mary Havenhand in Sheffield in 1856.
