Tickhill

John Saxton baptized 1806 Tickhill married in 1835 to Elizabeth Bradley baptized 1803 Tickhill. John Saxton son of John Saxton and Sarah Booth. Elizabeth Bradley daughter of John Bradley and Hannah Ledger

After their marriage in 1835 they travelled up to Scotland where John worked on a farm at Dalcrue as an overseer. From 1837 to 1842 they had four children after which they returned to Tickhill where Isaac was born in 1844.
