In 1833 George Widdowson, was a Shopkeeper in Wales and in 1849, George Widdowson was recorder as a farmer in Wales.
In 1851 James Widdowson age 63, an agricultural labourer born Wales, and Hannah Widdowson a widow age 65 from Swinton were living at Brampton-en-le-Morthen.
In 1879 Mrs. Jane Widdowson was farming at Aston cum Aughton. John Widdowson, was a Shopkeeper in North Anston.
