Local Football in the 80's to 90's
This is the photo of the football team receiving the Trophy for winning the Sunday League (Fallons 3 Diamonds at the time).
The photo was taken outside the Chequers pub,where the trophy was awarded.
I think the year was 1990.

Derek Smales (medic/physio),Glyn Manderson (Brother Tony is the current Landlord of the Chequers),David Fretwell,Tim Sherrif,Gordon Trueman,(The Late),Colin McDonald who never actualy played during that season,broke his leg in a friendly during pre season,but was with the team from start to finish.

League chairman's girlfriend,Dean Gregory,Ian Stewart (myself Player / manager holding trophy),Phil Arnold League Chairman,Glyn Fretwell,Brian Fretwell,Landlord and landlady of the Sitwell at the time.

Missing from the photo was Brian Andrews and Dave Bartle who were on holiday at the time.
