Memories
Pinchmill Farm in the 1950s

My cousin's grandparents ran Pinchmill Farm in the late 1950s I think. They were called Eastwood. It was a very interesting place with two houses, one half timbered and another very old brick one. Sadly I dont have photos. I think it is by the golf course.
I understand that it is now called Pinchmill Fisheries, I'm not that surprised as it was a small farm, probably too small for todays farmers. They milked cows, bred a couple of pigs and grew some crops. It was quite a pretty place with the two houses at opposite sides of the yard and an earthen 2 seater privy behind the farm house.
